Thanks to the generosity of our partners at LAZ Parking, we recently spent an afternoon packing 30+ Thanksgiving gift baskets to give to our clients. This is a tradition of ours every year, as it is important to us that they and their families are well fed this week. When we asked one of our volunteers, Maria, why this work is important to her, she said:
“I’ve been thinking about the question ‘what did I do with my life?’ I’m from Venezuela, and the issue of human trafficking that Saving Innocence is trying to tackle is very prominent and common in my home in South America. When I visited Saving Innocence’s gala, I felt very personally touched by their impact and work. I’ve known I want to do more, and this is just one way I’m learning how to.”
We’re incredibly thankful for our donors, volunteers, and partners who help us meet the needs of the survivors we serve. With this in mind, the Saving Innocence team has a special message for you…
