What We Do

Our Services

Saving Innocence serves individuals of all ages who have been affected by human trafficking across Los Angeles County.

We provide individualized case management, mentorship, emotional support, independent living development, and connections to vital resources and partner organizations that address clients’ unique needs.

Advocacy & Case Management

Our team of Case Managers and Advocates are highly trained human trafficking experts in the field of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) and other forms of human trafficking. They provide trauma-informed care with a focus on empathy, dignity, and comprehensive support, ensuring each client receives the attention and resources they need for healing and empowerment.

Victim Testifying Support

Our services provide comprehensive support for individuals testifying against traffickers or in trafficking-related cases. We offer in-person court support to ensure witnesses feel safe and supported throughout the legal process. Additional services include food assistance and temporary overnight accommodations during the trial, helping individuals focus on their testimony without added stress or hardship.

Empowered Youth in Saving Innocence Hoodies

Workshops

Survivor Leadership Academy for Youth (SLAY):

This program was designed to cultivate healthy, motivated, and resilient leaders through a dynamic blend of workshops, mentorship, and community partnerships. By working alongside experienced community leaders, participants gain invaluable guidance and resources that empower them to develop strong leadership skills, build character, and enhance soft skills. By fostering a sense of purpose and connection, we help survivors become leaders who inspire change, build relationships, and positively impact the world and communities.

Growth Group

This is a support group for individuals who identify as survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Leveraging trauma-informed interventions, the group emphasizes organic, participant-led conversations and collective healing. The group fosters a sense of community and safety, offering a space where participants can navigate their healing journey with the guidance of trained professionals and the solidarity of others with shared experiences.

Life Skills

This workshop series provides participants with opportunities to learn and develop essential life skills and self-sufficiency. Each session is dedicated to a specific topic, providing hands-on learning and practical strategies for everyday living. From mastering healthy cooking and budgeting for groceries to learning creative hair braiding techniques, each workshop is designed to equip participants with the tools they need to thrive independently.
