Dressember Fundraising Ends This Week!
January is recognized as Human Trafficking Awareness Month in the United States. While the 31 day style challenge has ended, Dressember is continuing to raise funds and awareness until February 1st. They have raised $2.3 million so far! As a partner, a portion of these funds will directly benefit the survivors who are supported by our Advocates at Saving Innocence. We so appreciate all the conversations that have been had around this topic, and we hope that you will continue to engage in conversations around the exploitation of other people throughout the year. It is one of the barriers to our work in that people often do not understand the nuances and layers of factors that make trafficking so profitable both in Los Angeles and around the world.
